Exceptionally nice location, at a walking distance from Co-op Food. Walking distance from bus station - 5 mins. Friendliness of the staff. Nicely decorated hotel units with extra comfy beds, garden access and the bathroom.
Beds were too small.

I had a delightful two-night stay in Edinburgh at Nira Caledonia. the breakfast was not only delicious but also offered a lovely view of the garden. the hotel's location was superb, being close to the city center and just a short 10-15 minute walk from an art museum. the staff provided friendly service, which contributed to my overall enjoyment of the stay.

I didn't feel I got value for money. I had a very small, pokey room, in that you could hardly walk around the bed and I felt breakfast was poor with very poor selection. As well as the fact there wasnt even a small pack of biscuits for a cup of tea when we arrived,

Relaxed, helpful and friendly staff, silence at night in neighborhood, nice layout and large room with interesting furnishings - and the big tv with dvd player. The last scored very high with my 15 year old son. Always quite easy to park.

We thoroughly enjoyed well-maintained rooms and delicious food.
The hotel was unique and romantic, it had skilled staff with even better service. The location in a shopping area was particularly good and there were a Christmas market and the Sunday market nearby. Also, Royal Mile was 1 mile away from the venue.
